Join us for the World Congress of Nephrology 2003 held in the exciting city of Berlin.

Paris Square and Brandenburg Gate

The WCN 2003 will be hosted by the European Renal Association-European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA) and the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) in cooperation with the European Society for Paediatric Nephrology (ESPN), the European Kidney Research Association (EKRA), Gesellschaft für Nephrologie (GfN) and Deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Klinische Nephrologie (DAGKN). The Congress will take place in the largest convention centre in Europe (the ICC-Berlin) and provide up-to-date information on basic and clinical nephrology, paediatric nephrology, renal replacement therapy including hemodialysis, CAPD and renal transplantation as well as hypertension and cardiovascular complications in renal disease. These topics will be presented in state-of-the-art lectures, symposia and free communications. CNE (Continuous Nephrological Education) sessions in English, Polish, Spanish, French and German will complete the programme of this unique scientific event. Satellite symposia following the Congress will take place in different parts of Europe and focus on specific aspects of basic and clinical nephrology. Pre- and post-congress tours will provide great opportunities to visit tourist highlights of Germany and its neighbouring countries. Specific package deals are available.

Berlin has again become the capital of Germany and a city which – unlike any other metropolis in the world – has undergone the most impressive transformation over the last 10 years. You will find here an enormous variety of tourist and cultural offers such as a large number of museums (including the world famous Pergamon Museum) and galleries, exquisite concert halls, jazz clubs as well as fine examples of old and new European architecture (the historic Brandenburg Gate, Sanssouci Palace, and the impressive Potsdamer Square).

Please, take advantage of the unique combination of an excellent scientific programme and a vibrant city and register for the World Congress of Nephrology on June 8-12, 2003 in Berlin!
